WHAT IS A MAVEN?
Maven /ˈmeɪvən/ noun
A person with expert knowledge or understanding in a particular field.
We create community programs,
school-holiday experiences and festival activations
designed specifically for the wider community... with a Maven Hub spin on it!
Home-education is at the heart of Maven. (See About Us)
We also create opportunities specifically for homeschool families - connecting children with experts, businesses, workplaces, organisations
and experiences they may otherwise miss.
Whatever the setting, the idea is the same: give children meaningful access to people who know, make, build, create, solve, teach and do interesting things in the real world.
FOR FAMILIES
Less organising. More real-world learning.
Discover meaningful experiences, programs, career opportunities and real-world learning for children and teenagers.
FOR ORGANISATIONS
Create something for kids & teens
Work with Maven to create an experience, activation or opportunity for young people. For businesses, workplaces, councils, festivals, shopping centres, TAFE, schools, experts and community organisations.

Keeping costs fair
For some Maven collaborations,
I choose not to charge for any of the time I spend planning and coordinating them.
Where I can, I also seek grants, partnerships or community funding so families aren’t carrying costs that can be covered another way.
If a session has a fee,
it reflects the real costs involved and will always be clear before you book.
